At the end of a semi private alleyway, in the heart of a densely built urban parcel, there is an early 20th century brick building used as offices and then a canteen.
The owners, from Austria and Italy, initially wanted a contemporary project that somehow reflected their diverse cultural background: a sort of “Paladian-Bavarian loft”.
The result is a unique blend of certain imported materials (for example, Travertin), specific programs (for example, a sauna) & exemplified typologies (a symmetrical axial composition) creating a unique home within a specific context.
