This apartment is situated in an emblematic building that was designed by the renowned Art Deco architect, Adrien Blomme. Despite being situated in the heart of the dense urban fabric, the apartment offers +/- 350 m² overlooking an old abbey situated in a lush landscaped French style parc.
The apartment had not been renovated in over half a century and needed to be entirely refurbished. The initial plan, layout and certain materials were carefully studied in order to preserve and enhance the initial Art Deco design of Blomme. The “Royal Department of Monuments & Sites” of Brussels were also consulted to ensure a harmonious balance between the old building and the refurbished home.
