In a beautiful natural setting on the outskirts of Brussels, lies a small house that was previously used by a forest ranger.
The new owners wanted to take full advantage of the unique opportunity to renovate and extend the house. Their needs, a young couple with 3 children, required to duplicate the size of the existing house while preserving its character and typology. It was asked that the new extension be generous and luminous taking full advantage of perspectives onto the surrounding property.
The house was draped with a layer of black bricks. From the outside, the color contrasts playfully with the lush green background: from the inside, as all the walls are white, it clearly frames the views.
