The site consists of two row houses built in the beginning of the 19th century. One of its best features is its great location, facing the remarkable Etangs d’Ixelles, a string of ponds close to the city center.
The new landlords, a young couple with three children, wanted to change the twin property into one home, taking full advantage of the double width. They required generous view of the ponds, ample natural light and a convivial environment for family and friends. They also wished to transform the basement into a luminous art studio with its own access.
